Terms of service
This page covers how a Live Oak Web subscription actually works — in plain language, not a wall of legal boilerplate. If anything here is unclear, email hello@liveoakweb.com and we'll clarify it before you sign up.
Month-to-month billing
Every Live Oak Web plan bills monthly, with no fixed term. There is no contract locking you in — you can cancel online anytime through the Customer Portal (link in the footer), effective at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to your site through the day your current period ends.
Your price is locked for life
The price you sign up at is the price you pay for as long as your subscription stays active — Presence at $49/month or Plus at $99/month. We never raise it on you, and we never run a low intro rate that jumps later.
Updates are included
Every update is included in your monthly price — new hours, new photos, a price change, even a whole new look. There are no edit caps and no per-edit fees. Small changes typically land within a couple of business days; Plus subscribers go to the front of the line, usually the same or next business day. Bigger requests, like a full redesign, take a few days.
If you ever leave
Cancel anytime and we'll export a full copy of your site's content for you. We keep that export on file for 30 days after cancellation in case you need it again, then delete it permanently. Your domain and your Google Business Profile were registered in your name from day one, so they stay yours no matter what — nothing to transfer.
Who owns what
Your domain registration and your Google Business Profile are set up and kept in your name, not ours, for the entire life of your subscription and after. We manage them on your behalf while you're a subscriber; you're always the owner of record.
The 10% service-member discount
Veterans, active military, and first responders get 10% off for as long as their subscription is active. Show a valid ID when we set up your account — a veteran ID card, active-duty military ID, DD-214, or a current first-responder department ID all qualify. Email a photo of your ID to hello@liveoakweb.com when you sign up and we'll apply the discount before your first charge.
